Information on human pathogens (under Option) for testing cell lines by PCR

The ICLAS Monitoring Center is now accepting orders for testing normal and tumor cell lines for the following human pathogens:

Test item: Parvovirus B19
Method: PCR

・Parvovirus B19 causes infectious erythema (slapped cheek rash) and other symptoms.
The Guidelines on Clinical Research using Human Stem Cells issued by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare states that to ensure the safety of human stem cells and differentiated cells during sampling, the prospective donors must be tested and found negative for infection by hepatitis B (HBV), hepatitis C (HCV), human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), T-lymphotropic virus (HTLV), and parvovirus B19.
